Small Concept of Happiness

As I have read The Degree of Happiness, it stated there that educated people would receive more happiness than those who are uneducated. The example given were scientists and farmers where these two positions are in a very different level of position.

A scientist who managed to create something that could change the history of mankind would be amazing and he or she is proven to be very happy about it. Yes, I approved that fact but what happened before that scientist succeed? He or she must had been in a deep dilemma, stress, angry, sad and whatnot. Is that what we called "happy"? No, exactly. Scientist carries heavy burdens especially to those who are working from to imperfect to perfecting on what the societies are consuming. Even students in school are stressed in handling their science subjects. What more to be approved?

Farmer, on the other hand, lead a very simple life. most of farmers are living in a rural area. Therefore, they are far away from the business of urban areas. They wake up to a fresh air, good morning breakfast without hassling to go to work, family were there to help each other out and not forgetting to mention a good daily activities on weekdays. This is a picture of happiness.

The question is why happiness is being measured in between levels and positions? It is a basic knowledge where we have learned when we were kids growing to be men. The basic concept is we know nothing of stress and pressure when we were kids just as same as we are staying at home and enjoy what we like. When we are a grown men, we tend to work for living in order to support ourselves and others just as same as working to fulfill what the societies need.

To conclude, I am quite sure that educated and uneducated people are having the same happiness from the outcomes out of their works but people should know that to get there, uneducated people are happier than educated people.
